My Projects

Team Project

I undertook the role of Project manager in a team of 5 students whilst we developed and deployed an administration system, using Java and MySQL.

Dissertation Project: Detection of cancer metastasis using convolutional neural networks

I researched and developed in an agile environment several CNN models, using Python and TensorFlow, to binary classify medical images from the Patch Camelyon dataset, in order to detect cancer metastasis. I tuned different hyperparameters such as loss functions, optimisers, activation function etc. to improve predictive performance and reached 83% accuracy.

Space Invaders Clone Game

Developed a 2D game in Java using university's library and object-oriented programming practices. It included multiple objects, levels, sounds for collisions and background, keeping track of score and health.
